My journey with language started back in Armenia, where I studied Russian and English linguistics at Yerevan State Linguistic University. I went all the way through my BA, MA, and even completed a PhD course there. I’ve always been fascinated by how language works—not just the grammar and vocabulary, but the deeper layers of meaning and cultural nuance. That curiosity led me to teach at the university and work closely with international students, which was incredibly rewarding. Over the years, I have taken multiple courses related to pedagogy, with a special emphasis on interactive and student-centered teaching. These courses not only expanded my knowledge but also equipped me with innovative strategies to engage learners effectively. My extensive experience as both a teacher and learner of languages equips me with a unique perspective on the challenges students face and the strategies that work best to overcome them. Second, I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students feel motivated and confident in their language journey.
